What is WMaya?

WMaya is a furniture studio founded in Manila in 2025. Our brand was created with the vision of striking the perfect balance between design (modern, unique, but never too loud) and quality (handcrafted with high-quality materials, yet reasonably priced). We refer to this as well-balanced furniture, and we hope it helps fill the gap in the Philippine furniture industry.

What type of furniture can be found in your collection?

 

We bring European-inspired modern designs, combining styles like Scandinavian and mid-century modern with eclectic and coastal touches, to add personality to every piece.

 

Our collection covers the main home areas: living room, dining room, and bedroom. From sofas, accent chairs, coffee tables, dining sets, consoles, and other storage solutions, to bed frames, nightstands, and poufs.

 

For hospitality projects, depending on the volume, we can offer outdoor furniture pieces too.

What materials do you use?

 

Our furniture is mainly made of solid wood and veneers. In some of the designs, we use synthetic rattan, microcement, natural marble, or sintered stone. We focus on high-quality materials and finishes, aiming to create pieces that are both aesthetic and durable.

Is your furniture customizable?

 

For most designs, we can customize the wood finish (natural light oak, classic walnut, cool grey, or true black) and wood accent colors (antique green, antique red, charcoal grey). For upholstered items, we can offer a number of fabric colors and textures.

 

These customization options vary per design and may be subject to availability.

Changing the measurements of some pieces is also possible, but it is a more complex process and it will affect the price of the item. If you need a size adjustment, we can explo the options together and prepare a separate quotation.

Where is your furniture made?

 

We manufacture all our pieces in China and distribute them in the Philippines. For every handcrafted furniture piece, we conduct two quality checks: one in the factory before being shipped, and another one in our Manila warehouse before delivering it to the client.

What is your production and delivery time?

​

For made-to-order pieces, our lead time is 8 to 16 weeks. This includes production, shipment, and delivery to your door. The number of weeks may vary due to factors beyond our control during shipment or customs clearance, but we will always do our best to make your wait as short as possible.

 

For pieces that are available on hand, the lead time goes from 1 to 2 weeks, depending on your location and the availability of our delivery team.

WMaya is not liable for delays in production or delivery time when the reason are factors beyond our control.

Do you have on-hand pieces?

​

Yes, we do have some pieces in stock. The available designs change as we continuously get new orders, so we recommend contacting us before purchasing online. 

What is the best way to take care of the furniture?

​

For wooden furniture, gently remove dust using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using common household cleaners as they can damage the finish of your WMaya piece. Keep in mind that wood is a natural material, and prolonged exposure to sunlight or humidity can alter its appearance and condition. 

 

For pieces with marble or stone, always use placemats, coasters, and trivets to avoid stains or scratches. Clean spills immediately by blotting (not wiping), and avoid harsh cleaners or abrasives. For regular cleaning, use mild soap with water or a recommended stone cleaner, testing first on a hidden spot.

 

For fabrics, you can use mild soap and vacuum regularly. In case of spills, clean right away by blotting and wiping with a damp cloth.

 

Please note that WMaya does not cover damage resulting from incorrect care or handling.

What are your terms of payment?

For made-to-order pieces, we require 50% down payment before starting production and the balance upon delivery. For stock items, the client may pay in full when placing the order.

 

Payments are not refundable, but we reserve the right to reimburse the client if the purchased item can't be manufactured or delivered anymore for any reasons beyond our control.

Please note we don't accept cash payments.

Is the cost of delivery included in your price?

​

We provide free delivery for orders of minimum 2 items and within Metro Manila. For orders of only 1 item, we will need to add a delivery fee that may vary based on the size of the piece, but which will be clearly explained to the customer.

 

If outside of Metro Manila, regardless of the number of pieces, we will share a delivery fee separately.

Do you accept returns?

​

Only items with factory defects can be exchanged or returned. As the items are made of different materials, including natural wood, minor inconsistencies in coloring and grain design will not be considered product defects.

​

We ensure the pieces are in perfect condition through a double quality check before delivering the furniture pieces to the client, which allow us to confirm that the item is in perfect condition at the time of the delivery. Any damages that happen after delivery due to improper handling or maintenance can't be covered by WMaya.
